In Palma, the "Evolution 2019" from 23 - 29 October in the limelight. Honored as one of MovieMaker's TOP 50 Film Festivals, EMIFF invites you to the festival for the eighth time, with over 100 screenings, networking events, panel discussions, island excursions and master classes to be performed in various locations around the capital. The "Made in Baleares" section will feature films by film producers from the Balearic Islands.
From the aspect of the fast-growing scene, the opportunity to network and getting inspired by mutual ideas is given to strengthen society, independent culture-independent filmmakers. Indie filmmakers and professionals can interact in the Festival's Producers Club, Pitch Forum and workshops.
Among the 13 categories of the film festival, prizes amounting to 25,000 euros will be awarded. Former winners and panelists include personalities such as Danny DeVito and Emma Suarez. Presentations of feature films, international short films and children's films include virtual reality animations. The culturally diverse event attracts more than 4,000 guests from over 30 countries for 7 days and nights.
